The Swage Sleeve 3.2mm Round Aluminium Swage serves as an effective solution for securing single wire ropes. Our Stopper fittings, also known as Clamp Single Stopper or Simplex Aluminum Swage Sleeves (Round Ferrules), are essential components made of aluminum. These fittings are designed to pass over the wire rope and can be hand-swaged, either manually or hydraulically, onto the wire to function as a stopping point—a process essentially involving the manual swaging of a terminal onto the wire.

In practical terms, Swage Sleeve 3.2mm Round Aluminium Swages find application in winch or winding setups, particularly with various types of lifting or control cables. It's important to note that the retention strength of these fittings is approximately 50% of the Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of the wire to which they are attached. Aluminum is most suitable for use with mild steel, galvanized steel, and high tensile steel wires or wire ropes, but it is not recommended for use with stainless steel. This precaution arises from the potential for a dissimilar alloys interaction (galvanic reaction) between aluminum and stainless steel.
